Game On at Portage: Hockey, Camaraderie, and a Special Tribute
At our Portage manufacturing site, success is built by the incredible people who make it happen every day. Over the past four years, this team has delivered exceptional performance and driven continuous growth, setting a standard we’re proud to celebrate.
To recognize these achievements, the site recently received a special gift: a brand-new bubble hockey game. This isn’t just a game, it’s a symbol of teamwork, camaraderie, and the fun that comes from working together toward shared goals.
The celebration kicked off with a spirited tournament, filled with friendly competition and plenty of laughter. But the highlight of the day was a heartfelt tribute to one of our own: Sue Shay, Director of Operations. In true hockey tradition, Sue’s jersey (number 26) was “lifted to the rafters,” honoring her leadership and lasting impact on the Portage team. This symbolic gesture reflects the respect and appreciation we have for Sue’s dedication and the culture she’s helped shape.
What did the team have to say about the day?
Building Connections Beyond the Manufacturing Floor
Moments like these remind us that our strength lies not only in innovation and quality but also in the connections we build. Whether it’s on the manufacturing floor or around a hockey bubble, we’re proud to foster an environment where teamwork and fun go hand in hand.
Here’s to more continued growth, shared success, and more reasons to celebrate the incredible people who make our company what it is.
