TYGON® S-54-HL is a flexible polyvinyl derivative with added rigidity over TYGON® S-50-HL to reduce kinking problems experienced in fluid drainage applications. TYGON® S-54-HL is available in five extremely small sizes for use in catheters and other surgical uses. There is enough flexibility in the tubing to allow use with a multitude of hypodermic needle sizes. TYGON® S-54-HL's exceptional chemical resistance allows it to be sterilized with any number of germicides and is also gas and gamma sterilizable.
