Medical PVC comes in a variety of durometers (hardness), shapes, colors, multi-lumen, paratubing and can be co-extruded with other thermoplastics for additional properties. In addition, Saint-Gobain offers non-DEHP plasticizer grades for devices that are used in medical procedures involving neonates, pregnant women and other high-risk populations. Specifically, TYGON^® S-74 and TYGON^® S-75 are non-DEHP PVC products developed for use in these applications.

TYGON® S-74 and S-75 are medical grade, clear PVC polymers available directly from Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics. These flexible tubing formulations have all the advantages of PVC without DEHP plasticizers and are ideally suited for catheters, surgical drains, fluid and oxygen-administration applications.
