Liquid Injection Molding - The Process
This process uses Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR), a two-part platinum catalyzed product, to mold the desired components.
The "A" and "B" parts are mixed prior to
injection, to cure into the desire part when heat is applied. Liquid injection molding is
an efficient process, offering cost effectiveness, tighter
tolerances, and high part volumes.
At Saint-Gobain, we offer a full range of molding and finishing
capabilities to take your medical device from prototype to
production. Visit the Capabilities page
for more details.
To provide your next custom designed silicone molded part, turn
