Liquid Injection Molding CapabilitiesTrust the Liquid Injection Molding Experts at Saint Gobain.

With over 20 years of liquid injection molding experience, the Saint-Gobain Application Development Engineering Group is prepared to help you succeed in building your medical device. The team at Saint Gobain is committed to assist you in the design, prototyping and production of your medical components utilizing the liquid injection molding process. With an arsenal of different types of liquid injection molding machines, both vertical and horizontal; we can solve any of your supply issues.

Liquid Injection Molding - The Process

This process uses Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR), a two-part platinum catalyzed product, to mold the desired components. The "A" and "B" parts are mixed prior to injection, to cure into the desire part when heat is applied. Liquid injection molding is an efficient process, offering cost effectiveness, tighter tolerances, and high part volumes.

At Saint-Gobain, we offer a full range of molding and finishing capabilities to take your medical device from prototype to production. Visit the Capabilities page for more details.

To provide your next custom designed silicone molded part, turn to Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics, an experienced custom silicone fabricator capable of a variety of injection, transfer and compression molding processes to provide the best suited part for your needs.
