Custom Compounding

Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics has 6 worldwide manufacturing and application development centers focused solely on silicone technology. Each facility is staffed with experienced technical people who bring years of silicone expertise to assist in solving you material issues. Not only are they familiar with the broad offering of commercially available Liquid silicone rubbers (LSR) and heat cured rubbers (HCR), they also have the ability to custom compound products to meet demanding physical profiles or functional requirements. Once developed, testing protocols are developed to assure the silicone meets the specification each and every time a new batch is compounded. Regardless of whether a silicone rubber is compounded or not, we have a thorough understanding of all pertinent industry specifications and guarantee that our products are tested and validated to them: USP Class VI, ISO 10993, European Pharmacopeia, Tripartite and FDA.
